Tuel’s Stressed Skin Protocols: Advanced Redness & Rosacea Support
For clients dealing with rosacea, chronic facial redness, flushing, and sensitive skin, flare-ups can feel unpredictable and frustrating—often triggered by weather changes, stress, or the wrong treatment. This uncertainty creates real concern for clients and added pressure for skincare professionals who are expected to deliver relief without causing irritation.
So if you’re a pro looking for a fresh approach when it comes to treating rosacea, the Tuel Advanced Redness & Rosacea Support Protocol offers a new skincare treatment designed to help calm reactive skin, visibly reduce redness, and strengthen skin resilience—without overstimulation. Check out our step-by-step guide.
Start with Skin Type
Before getting started, always assess and treat based on the client's skin type. For this treatment, we selected Tuel’s Mature Skincare Line to support barrier repair, boost hydration, and keep the skin calm without overstimulating.
Pro Tip: Use cold water throughout the treatment to keep redness and reactivity calm.

CLEANSE (10 MINUTES)
1. Cleansing Oil — Gently remove eye and lip makeup using a few drops on moistened cotton.
2. Milk Cleanser — Pre-cleanse the face by mixing 1 pump of Milk or Gel Cleanser with 1 pump of Intensify in the palms. Massage into the skin, then add water to emulsify. Rinse with cool water and remove with sponges or gently pat dry.
3. Cleansing Oil — On dry skin with dry hands, massage 1 pump of Cleansing Oil over the face and neck for 3–5 minutes, focusing on congested areas.
4. Herbal Toner — Massage 1 pump of Herbal Toner directly over the Cleansing Oil.
5. Emulsify — Gradually add cool water, allowing the oil to emulsify and turn milky white. Continue adding water until the oil feels fully dissolved. Finish with a final rinse using sponges or a barber wrap.
6. Eye Products — Apply the appropriate eye product to the eye and lip areas. Cover eyes with cotton pads soaked in warm water.
7. Relax Essential Oil — Apply to the neck and shoulders to promote relaxation.
REFINE (15 MINUTES)
8. Enzyme Peel — Mix 1 teaspoon of Enzyme Peel with 1 teaspoon of Glycolic Solution and 1 teaspoon of water to create a thin paste. Apply to the face and neck, then cover with a barber wrap. Leave on for 10 minutes.
9. Extractions (Optional) — Perform extractions only if the skin can tolerate them, keeping in mind couperose and vascular sensitivity. Be gentle. Apply Post Extraction Solution to a cotton pad and lightly wipe treated areas.
NOURISH (30 MINUTES)
10. Essential Oil & Hydration — Place 5–7 drops of Relax Essential Oil into moist hands, rub together, and smooth onto a clean face and neck, avoiding the eye area. Follow with Hydrate Super Moisture Serum, then apply Rescue Nourishing Cream.
11. Massage — Perform massage using manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) techniques. When additional slip is needed, lightly moisten fingertips with water. Do not add more cream and do not remove existing products. Apply a layer of Super Soothe.
12. Mask Application — Mix ½ teaspoon each of Lift Up Mask and Super Soothe with water. Apply evenly to the face, neck, and décolleté. Leave on for 10 minutes.
13. OPTIONAL — Apply the mask to the lower neck (crew line). Add Intensify to the remaining mixture and apply to the décolleté, covering with plastic wrap. Inform the client they may feel warmth and stimulation. Leave on for 10 minutes.
14. Removal — Remove the mask using towels soaked in ice-cold water or chilled in the refrigerator. Always warn the client before applying cold towels. Begin with the face, then move down to the neck.
FINISH (5 MINUTES)
Daytime — Apply C Power Vitamin C Serum, Essential Oil, Hydrate Super Moisture Serum, and the appropriate eye product. Finish with Super Soothe, then apply Daily Defense.
Nighttime — Apply Essential Oil, Hydrate Super Moisture Serum, and the appropriate eye product. Finish with Super Soothe.
Note: Temporary warmth or redness in the décolleté is normal and will subside. Reapply Super Soothe as needed.
Special Consideration: Pustular Rosacea
Pustular rosacea is skin with inflamed bumps and pustules along with redness. For these clients, the Detox Line is recommended to support clarity, reduce congestion, and calm inflammation without stripping the skin.
